Interview with Kinda Hibrawi, artist and “artistic” ambassador… Kinda, who grew up between Saudi Arabia, Syria, Lebanon and the United States is known for her vibrantly colored, very modern paintings of Arabic calligraphy…
Besides painting, Kinda has had some wonderful opportunities to pursue other endeavors, whether designing T-shirts to rebuild schools in Palestine for the United National Relief and Works Agency to creating a line of silk scarves whose proceeds will benefit St. Jude Research Hospital.
In October 2012, Kinda and her paintings leave for Saudi Arabia on a tour organized by the US State Department. While there, Kinda will again reprise her role as an “artistic” ambassador by lecturing and teaching workshops to young Saudi women.
